My Story
Hi, I’m Emily elizabeth baker.
I always dreamed of being an author. For years, I was a teacher, a journalist, a realtor, and even a corporate tech girly to pay the bills. In the quiet hours before and after work, I would write.
Over many years and many different versions of myself, my novel took shape. I taught others to write their own stories, I went to writing school where I worked with a former Big Five editor as a book coach, I started a podcast where I interviewed other authors to learn how they achieved their dream, I got a job in an indie bookstore and learned the intricacies of book sales.
When I knew it had finally become the book I had always dreamed it would be, I published my now bestselling novel, The Last Empress.
Now, I want to help you do it too. Because, like me, you deserve to achieve your dream of becoming an author. And because your book deserves readers.
